Lack of sleep during those first weeks and months with a new baby has a huge impact on everyone. A night nanny can make an incredible difference to family when parents are physically and mentally exhausted, but it is better still to never get to that point of tiredness.
Our small, but select, night nanny team are all hospital trained staff. Most are currently employed as nurses, NICU nursery nurses or midwifery support nurses. The rest of the team are retired nurses and midwives. This level of experience, competence and accountability gives our clients a much greater feeling of comfort and ease when entrusting their precious babies in our hands while they enjoy a much needed night of undisturbed rest.
The role of the night nanny is to provide all of the care your baby requires overnight, this includes feeding and settling bottle fed, breastfed or combi fed babies.
In the morning the night nanny will have your baby washed, changed, fed and all equipment used will be cleaned and sterilised leaving you refreshed and prepared for new the day ahead.
Night Nannies can also advise you on routines and make helpful adjustments that will guide your baby to sleep through the night. It is always our aim that you will need this service for the shortest time possible, as the goal is to get your baby sleeping through the night as quickly as they can.
Night Nanny hours are generally 10pm – 7am, however we are happy to change or increase hours to suit your family’s individual needs. Please get in touch for more information on this service.
